Whitby Wheelers Cycling Club was formed in 1975. The aim of the club is to ‘promote, improve & encourage recreational and competitive cycling’ We are affiliated to the National Cycling Charity and British Cycling. Everyone who cycles with us is valued as part of the club, who enjoy training, improving technique, cycling  faster and competing in competition, as well as having fun with new friends.

Whitby Wheelers meet every Sunday morning for group rides.

Where do we meet?

Sunday morning rides meet at 9.00am for a 9.15am start from Chris Greaves house in Sleights.
Sunday rides are usually 40 to 60 miles in length and we usually return by 2 to 3 pm (depending on Café stops).

Mid-week evening rides during British Summer Time meet at 6.00pm at Four Lane Ends roundabout depending on who’s out. There is a Whitby Wheelers WhatsApp Group to arrange impromptu rides.

There are regular Saturday mountain bike rides – often at Dalby Forest. Organised by Adam Theaker, and arranged through the Whitby Wheelers WhatsApp group.
